Terms of Service

Last updated 4 October 2026

These are the simple rules for using PlayCommands (playcommands.com). By using it, you agree to them.

What PlayCommands is

PlayCommands is a free learning game. It imitates Git inside your browser so you can practise commands safely. It does not run real Git, and it never touches the files on your computer. It is there to teach, and like any teaching tool it can contain mistakes.

Your account

Signing in is optional and uses your Google account. You are responsible for your account and for what happens under it. If you think someone else has used it, tell us.

Using PlayCommands

Use it to learn, and within the law. Please don’t try to break, overload or probe the service, collect its content with automated tools, or reach anyone else’s account or information.

Our content

The levels, text and design of PlayCommands are ours. You are welcome to use them to learn; please don’t copy them and republish them as your own.

No guarantees

PlayCommands is provided as it is and as it is available. We try to keep it accurate and running, but we can’t promise it always will be, or that the simulator behaves exactly like every version of Git. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it.

Paid plans

We may offer an optional paid plan in future. Its price and terms will be shown to you, and you will agree to them, before you pay anything. Nothing in these terms charges you today.

Stopping

You can stop using PlayCommands and have your details deleted at any time; the Privacy Policy explains how. We may change, pause or end the service, or restrict someone’s access if these terms are broken.

Changes, and the law

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do, and using PlayCommands afterwards means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
